Microsoft has just released the latest Windows 10 Redstone 5 insider preview build (17666), bringing with it a slew of new features, most notably a dark theme for File Explorer, a cloud clipboard, and the ability to highlight text in Notepad and execute a web search. These features are now available on Windows 10 Insider build 17666 and should roll out to mainstream Windows 10 users later on. Microsoft has quietly introduced a new internet speed test feature in Windows 11, giving users a quicker way to check their connection directly from the taskbar.   The feature, which began appearing in recent updates for Windows 11 versions 24H2 and 25H2, adds a “Perform speed test” option in the network menu. Microsoft previously offered a dedicated Network Speed Test app in earlier versions of Windows, which provided deeper insights and tracking capabilities. The update brings Windows 11 Builds 26100.7918 and 26200.7918 (KB5077241) to devices running version 24H2 and the upcoming 25H2. Secondly, the machines we have now are far more powerful than they were 3 years ago when people first beta-tested Windows Vista. Imagine if people tested Windows 7 back then with the PC configuration of that time.
