#Windows 11 availability

Microsoft has officially announced that Windows 11 will start to become available on October 5. It will roll out as a free upgrade to eligible Windows 10 PCs and PCs that come pre-loaded with Windows 11. The Windows 11 upgrade will then roll out to in-market devices "based on intelligence models that consider hardware eligibility, reliability metrics, age of device and other factors." Those who have a Windows 10 PC eligible for the upgrade will be notified when the update is available. Users may also check if Windows 11 is ready for their device by going to Settings > Windows Update and select Check for updates*. Microsoft targets to offer the free upgrade to Windows 11 to all eligible devices by mid-2022. Microsoft has officially announced the release of its new windows update—Windows 11. The new Windows 11 will be introducing features called Snap Layouts, Snap Groups, and Desktops that will provide an effective way to multitask. According to Microsoft, these new features are designed to help organize user's windows and optimize screen real estate to cater to different user layout preferences.
