Microsoft is testing the Android 12.1 on Windows 11 with their latest release for Windows Insiders. The Windows Subsystem for Android is currently available if you're a Windows Insider. One of the particular adjustments made is the headlining improvement that underpins Windows' ability to run mobile applications. With this update, improvements on how Android 12.1 apps integrate with Windows will make Android applications feel more like Windows applications. Pop-up messages from the applications show up as Windows notifications now, and additionally, allow Android apps to be shown when accessing the microphone or location through the taskbar. This means that instead of restarting, the application resumes where it left off.  Microsoft is redesigning the settings application to allow users to manage the Windows Subsystem for Android making the "all-around cleaner user experience: Now, Microsoft says it’s fixed those issues and is reintroducing Recall in a new preview build (26100.3902) for Windows Insiders. And if you’re using Windows Share, there’s now a built-in editor for quick changes like cropping or filtering images before you send them.
