Xiaomi has revealed a new feature called WinPlay. Zhang Guoquan, Director of Xiaomi Mobile System Software Department, states that the Xiaomi HyperCore is able to run Windows games with WinPlay engine. WinPlay can also support gaming peripherals such as controllers, keyboards, mice, and the like. After testing the WinPlay engine with the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4, Guoquan states that the GPU performance loss is only 2.9%. There is currently an open beta for Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 users to try WinPlay provided that they are running the HyperOS 2 beta.
