X (formerly Twitter) is apparently rolling out new communication features including audio and video calling within the app. While the platform has not officially announced the new feature yet, several users have already received a notification, “Audio and Video calls are here!” It’s not enabled by default; thus users will have to enable the feature through in-app settings. Tapping the phone icon in the upper right of a conversation will bring a dropdown menu for an audio or video call.
