Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has detailed the specs and features of their upcoming console, the Xbox Series X. According to the post, the Xbox Series X will come with custom-designed AMD Zen 2 CPU, which is the same architecture of AMD's current 3000-series Ryzen chips. For storage, the Xbox Series X will come with (presumably) a PCIe Gen 4 SSD for faster load times. The Xbox Series X will also come with an HDMI 2.1 port to accommodate the features that the hardware can deliver. As for compatibility, the Xbox Series X is compatible with four generations - all the way up to the original Xbox. It features the XBOX Series X25 Limited Edition and XBOX Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition inspired by the original Xbox. The Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition comes in a translucent OG Green finish that pays tribute to the original Xbox console. It still has the standard Xbox Series X hardware including 1TB of storage.
