Xbox has announced the Xbox 25th Anniversary Collection. It features the XBOX Series X25 Limited Edition and XBOX Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition inspired by the original Xbox.
The Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition comes in a translucent OG Green finish that pays tribute to the original Xbox console. It still has the standard Xbox Series X hardware including 1TB of storage. It also adds commemorative design elements such as a green-lit Xbox logo and a special 25th Anniversary emblem.
Alongside the console, Microsoft also unveiled the Xbox Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition. The controller has a translucent OG Green design and classic ABXY button colors.
There are also design cues inspired by the original “Duke” controller including bumpers that reference the iconic black and white buttons. Its transparent rear shell also reveals the classic Xbox logo inside.
The Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition and controller will launch together in select markets this November as a limited-edition bundle. The controller will also be sold separately. Pricing and pre-order details have yet to be announced.
