Aside from the new Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5, the brand also announced the new Xiaomi MIX Flip 2. Powering the MIX Flip 2 is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Xiaomi is preparing to launch the Mix Flip 2, the successor to its debut flip-style foldable smartphone, the Mix Flip. According to recent leaks, the Mix Flip 2 will feature a significantly larger battery, ranging between 5,600 to 5,700 mAh, compared to the original Mix Flip’s 4,780 mAh capacity. In addition to the battery upgrade, the Mix Flip 2 is rumored to be both thinner and lighter than its predecessor. For context, the original Mix Flip measures 7.6 mm in thickness when unfolded and 16 mm when folded, with a weight of approximately 190g to 192g, depending on the version. The Mix Flip 2 is expected to be available globally, continuing Xiaomi’s strategy of offering its foldable devices beyond the Chinese market.
