As the heat builds up this Summer, Xiaomi has launched a summer sale for select smartphones this May 2019. This time, they sent us a budget smartphone which is the successor to the Redmi 5, the Redmi 6.  It sports a 5.45-inch 18:9 display with 1440 x 720 resolution, a MediaTek Helio P22 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 12MP + 5MP dual rear cameras, 5MP front camera, and 3,000mAh battery. It will be available along with the Redmi 6a, at authorized Xiaomi Stores in August. Xiaomi Philippines is gearing up to launch their new entry-level pair, the Redmi 6 and 6A, in the local market. Xiaomi is branding the pair as the new "Entry-level kings", continuing the title they awarded to the previous generation Redmi 5A.
