#Xperia 5

Initially launched last September 5, Sony has launched its newest flagship smartphone under the Xperia series called the Sony Xperia 5. The Xperia 5 sports a 6.1-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 855+ chipset, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, 12MP + 12MP + 12MP triple rear cameras, 8MP front camera, IP resistance, Dolby Atmos audio, and 3,000mAh battery with USB PD fast charging. The Sony Xperia 5 is priced at CNY 5,399 (~PHP 39,659). In an email by Sony Ericsson today, the new Sony Ericsson XPeria X1 phone will be coming out to the public tomorrow in stores but people who made early reservations are supposed to get their own units today. See more unboxing photos here and our review of the XPeria X1 here. Aside from the iPhone 3G, the Sony Ericsson XPeria X1 is probably one of the most highly anticipated smartphone for the year 2008. I looked into the prototyped of the XPeria X1 given to me last week to find out if it lives up to the hype. In contrast, the XPeria is 1mm thinner than the Nokia N96, N81 and N82.
