Sony launches new h.ear and Extra Bass audio lineup in PH

Sony Philippines has launched in the country two new audio lineups consisting of headphones and wireless speakers – the h.ear and the Extra Bass.

h.ear

First up in the h.ear lineup is the h.ear go. It’s the world’s smallest portable High-Resolution Audio wireless speaker. It features multi-room capability, NFC, Bluetooth, 12 hour battery life, and built-in support for Google Cast and Spotify Connect.

Next is the h.ear on Wireless NC. It’s a Bluetooth headphone with Digital Noise Cancelling. Delivering audio is a 40 mm HD driver unit and a battery that can last up to 20 hours.

The last one is the h.ear in Wireless – an in-ear Bluetooth headphone with Behind-the-neck style. It sports a 9mm driver unit with an outer magnetic path-type magnetic circuit, built-in microphone with HD voice support, anda regular minijack so you can still use it if you run out of battery.

The h.ear on is priced at Php15,999 while the h.ear in is at Php8,999. Both are now available in select Sony Centers and Egghead outlets. The h.ear go, on the other hand, will be available in Sony Centers from early Q3 2016.

Extra Bass

First up for the Extra Bass lineup is the GTK-XB7 – a one box high power audio system with EDM lighting which gives your living room a clubbing atmosphere. It sports two 16cm woofers, DSP technology, NFC, and Sony SongPal app support.

Next is the SRS-XB3 portable wireless speaker. It features a 48mm speaker unit, DSP, dual passive radiators, Bluetooth, NFC, and a 24-hour battery life.

Lastly, we have the MDR-XB650BT Bluetooth headphones. It packs a 30mm driver with bass booster, NFC, AAC and aptX Bluetooth codec compatibility, soft ear pads, a swivel design that can be folded flat for easy storage, anda 30-hour battery life.

The MDR-XB650BT is priced at Php6,499 and is now available in Sony Centers and Egghead outlets. The GTK-XB7 and SRS-XB3 speakers, on the other hand, will be available in Q3 2016.
