The merge brings over 1,600 hours of content including 50-plus newly added titles and simulcast content from Funimation’s lineup to Crunchyroll. This move is expected as Sony Pictures Entertainment has acquired Crunchyroll last year, and providing anime fans the largest collection of licensed anime with a single Crunchyroll subscription.

Sony said that Crunchyroll’s ad-free subscription will remain unchanged, “creating a huge benefit for new and existing subscribers who will no longer have to pay for two services.”

As of writing, Crunchyroll released a list of Funimation titles available now, and more content will soon follow.
