Globe ships 100k units, 128GB Gold iPhone 6 still most requested

The 128GB Gold version of the iPhone 6 is still the most requested SKU of Apple’s smartphone this year, according to Globe representatives during the official launch at midnight last night.

Globe is also expecting to complete its shipment of more than 100,000 units of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus by the end of the year as demand for Apple’s smartphone continue to grow.

Close to 200 subscribers lined up last night at the Globe Tower waiting for their new iPhone 6 by midnight.

Globe’s order of more than 100,000 iPhones is led by huge demand for the 128GB Gold model, majority of which were already reserved by Platinum subscribers who are eligible to get them for free on recontracting (Globe has about 40,000 Platinum subscribers). The second most in-demand model is the 64GB Space Gray.

About 10,000 people signed up for the pre-order of the iPhone 6 on Globe’s website.

The numbers we got is just in line with last year’s numbers as reported to the NTC.

Globe imported 95,580 iPhones consisting of 58,680 iPhone 5s and 36,900 iPhone 5c by December 31, 2013 last year while Smart shipped 56,430 units consisting of 35,520 iPhone 5s and 20,910 of the iPhone 5c.

About 40000 lang pala ang platinum subscribers ng Globe pero hindi pa rin nila maayos ang LTE connection nila? May gana pa silang mamigay ng free internet? Unahin muna nila yung mga post paid payers bago yung mga squatter na papiso piso lang mag internet.

Kapag lumabas ang Apple 7 for sure baba nanaman ang price ng Appble 6. Nabasa ko somewhere nalalabas ang Iphone 7 sa July-August 2015.

dati naman hindi nangyayari ang ganito, nung nauso lang iphone at smartphone wars tsaka naging issue yung mga may pambili at wala. Haha. nung panahon ni nokia , kapag may nseries ka na para ka nang nakaiphone. manakawan ka lang ng n70 , para ka nang nalugi.

Hindi naman masama bumili, pero dapat iconsider din kung ano ang mga bagay na dapat unahin paglaanan ng pera, kasi pinaghihirapan yun at di basta basta nakukuha, hindi naman lahat pinanganak na mayaman. ang mahalaga masaya ka at wala kang kaaway.

Aaminin ko, iphone(2007) pa lang gusto ko na magkaroon. 6 na siya ngayon wala parin ako . Haha. although pwede naman bumili pero student pa lang kasi ako so unahin ko nalang yung pera para sa studies ko. :)
