Listen to article

GMA News

First, I'd like to congratulate GMA 7 for such a bold move. From this post, looks like the relaunch and the blog went out on New Year's eve although their archives are showing blank entries/pages from way back November 2006.

and let’s always remember that PRIDE is always bad,

PRIDE in a sense that is destroys everybody…everything…

always remember that PRIDE is always the root of all sins, the root of all misunderstanding…

i’m hoping, even a little bit, may the GMA management pay attention to this wish of mine,

im hoping that you stop or if not, just limit the airing of that what you’re saying is just to protect you’re name,

ok, let’s say, you’re the number 1 station, fine, but will that title let your network be filled with pride, yes you’re protecting your network,
but is’nt it that ABS is also just protecting their name,

and you know actually, the issue here is your PRIDE!!!!your EGO!!!!

can’t you not humble yourselves? just because you’re number 1…pls. let the management here this…and let me see your reply…

thank you very much…

This comment is for GMA 7 new show Marimar. Everyone is looking forward sa pagbabago ni Marimar as Gustavo’s daughter.

@ Obet

And incidentally, your domain name is under their blacklist.

@ Jim

It’s been confirmed na tama yung speculations ko from people inside. They just denied it at the beginning so as not to spoil the broth. If you look at the press release, the “split” was even made up like a good development after all.

Inquirer.net’s Joey Alarilla looks at the new development at a very positive light. As he pointed out in his blog. From what I understand, Inq7.net would still be active (redesigned?? but as of this writing the “unavailability” of the site “for a few hours” is taking days). This is a good development, I mean Inq7 would be an integrated site of the two sites and readers can choose to go to the sites of interest (more of becoming a “social network”/forwarding site for GMA TV News and Inquirer)–I was actually quite excited about it.

But what is intriguing is Joey’s comment on his column “Pagalingan na lang, dahil mga readers ang makikinabang kapag >maganda ang content sa INQ7.net. Readers already know what INQUIRER.net is capable of over the years, and we’re just getting started.”. hmmm…. Short to say, that you might be right about speculating about the split.

It looks like GMA changed their trackbacks NOT to show the title of the referring blog.My trackback on http://www.gmanews.tv/blogs/malou-mangahas/archives/1-Crossing-over.html
no longer shows my blog title.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do :P

HIP has a blog network, so they should have one too! Hehe. Kidding. Seriously though, I wonder how this will turn out.

I used to (emphasis on the past tense) work as consultant for Inquirer’s HIP network of blogs.

May I ask why? I was also offered this job before, but that’s just because I’m related to a boss.

i was actually expecting this, considering that there are long-time bloggers in the backroom operations of gmanews.tv

My only disappointment actually is that they prefer using Serendipity instead of WordPress.

Perhaps, they like the code better.
