Listen to article

GCash recently announced that it will start charging fees for its online bank transfers starting October 1, 2020. If you’re wondering what other GCash services are charged with fees, take a look below:

No charges

• Cash In Online (via linked BPI, UnionBank, Paypal & Payoneer
• Cash In Over-The-Counter (up to PHP 8K every month)
• Send Money (to any GCash account)
• GCredit (Interest fee depends on loan amount)
• International Remittance (receiving from Western Union, MoneyGram, Alipay HK & more)
• Buy Load
• Pay Bills
• Save Money
• GCash Insure
• Pay QR
• Shop Online
• KKB
• Request Money
• Book Movies

With Fees

• Cash In Over-The-Counter: 2% fee for more than PHP 8K
• Bank Transfer: PHP 15 per transaction effective October 1, 2020
• Cash Out Withdrawal:
o PHP 20 via Mastercard
o PHP 20 / PHP 1,000 for Over-The-Counter

And there you have it. So far, only three GCash services charge fees, so better keep these in mind before you make a transaction.
