HUAWEI has unveiled the Pura 90s Pro, Pura 90s Pro Max, and the new MatePad Air during its Flagship Product Global Launch Event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Pura 90s Series is expected to launch in the Philippines this August, while the MatePad Air will also arrive locally soon.

The three Pura 90s models focus on mobile photography, with the higher-end variants offering more advanced camera features. The series introduces technologies such as an Ultra Lighting HDR Camera, a second-generation True-to-Colour Camera, and upgraded telephoto imaging. The Pura 90s Pro Max is positioned as the top model and features a 200MP Ultra Large Sensor Telephoto Camera.

HUAWEI also added AI-powered photography and editing tools. These include AI Composition for framing suggestions, AI Move for repositioning and resizing subjects, AI De-Glare for reducing reflections, AI Best Expression for group photos, and AI Remove for erasing unwanted objects.
In terms of design, the Pura 90s Series follows HUAWEI’s Rhythm of Colour concept and uses a dual-tone gradient mid-frame.
Meanwhile, the HUAWEI MatePad Air comes in a slim 5.3mm body and features an OLED PaperMatte Display. It is designed for work, learning, content creation, and entertainment, with PC-style productivity features and built-in AI tools.
Local prices, storage options, colors, and exact availability have yet to be announced. More details are expected closer to the Philippine launch.
