HUAWEI has finally released its new flagship smartphones in the Philippines: the HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra and Pura 80 Pro. Both devices highlight upgraded camera systems, and premium designs.
The HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra is priced at PHP 89,999, while the HUAWEI Pura 80 Pro comes in at PHP 59,999.
Cameras and imaging
The Pura 80 Pro features an Ultra Lighting Macro Telephoto Camera with up to 5cm super close focus and a wide f/2.1 aperture, designed to capture more light for brighter and clearer shots.

It also has a 1-inch Ultra Lighting Camera and Ultra Chroma Camera, making it better suited for night photography and low-light scenarios.
Meanwhile, the higher-end Pura 80 Ultra debuts the industry’s first Switchable Dual Telephoto Camera, which combines a 3.7x mid-telephoto and 9.4x ultra-telephoto lens in one unit.

It also comes with a 1/1.28-inch Ultra Large Sensor for improved zoom performance, and a 1-inch Ultra Lighting HDR Camera capable of real-time HDR processing with up to 16EV dynamic range.
Design and durability
The Pura 80 Ultra is available in Prestige Gold and Golden Black, while the Pura 80 Pro comes in Glazed Red, Glazed White, and Glazed Black.
Both are built with 2nd Gen Kunlun Glass for better durability, with the Ultra variant using Crystal Armor Kunlun Glass. They also carry IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance.
Display, features, and battery
Both devices use a HUAWEI X-True Display for vivid visuals even under sunlight, paired with dual speakers. They run on EMUI 15 with AI-driven features like gesture controls, AI remove for photos, AI messaging, and real-time translation.
For battery, the phones pack a 5,170mAh capacity with support for 100W wired SuperCharge and 80W wireless charging.
