The Apple Pro Display XDR has been the go-to monitor for professionals that need an ultra-high-resolution color-accurate monitor. But it seems Dell wants a slice of the segment too. First announced at CES 2023, the company has recently launched the new Ultrasharp 32 6K monitor (U3224KB), and we go to try it out here at the Dell Technologies Commercial Client and Ecosystem Showcase in Malaysia.

As the name implies, it’s a 32-inch monitor with a 6K resolution. It uses an IPS panel with really deep blacks and very accurate colors out of the box. Thanks to the stand, you can even set it up in portrait mode. But it’s more than just another beautiful-looking monitor with a great display.

The Dell Ultrasharp 32 6K monitor also features a built-in 4K HDR webcam. This is perfect if you’re on a Zoom call with clients or customers. Speaking of Zoom, like the new Latitude 9440 laptop, the monitor also comes with a function that allows users to mute calls or even turn off the webcam all by pushing a button at the bottom left corner of the monitor.

In addition, there are multiple ports available including a Thunderbolt 4 port that offers up to 140W of power. Meanwhile, a built-in KVM switch allows the monitor to work simultaneously with two computers and even have two displays at once. The only downside is that the refresh rate is rated at 60Hz. Then again, this isn’t a gaming monitor.
The new Dell Ultrasharp 32 6K monitor (U3224KB) is now available through Dell Technologies and retails for USD 3,199 or roughly PHP 178,470.
