قد لا تكون الإعلانات المفلترة جيدة لمدونتك.

في الأسبوع الماضي، ناقشت تصفية الإعلانات المتعلقة بالمدونات من حساب AdSense الخاص بك لزيادة معدل النقر إلى الظهور (CTR) إلى أقصى حد. وقد اعتمدت توصيتي على مشاركة شاولين تايجر هنا.

حسنًا، بعد تطبيق تصفية جزئية للنطاق على حساباتنا (كوني وأنا) خلال الأسبوع الماضي، يبدو أن متوسط الإيرادات اليومية من أدسنس قد انخفض بنسبة لا تقل عن 25%. كان انخفاض حصتي أقل (أو شبه معدوم)، بينما أظهرت حساب كوني انخفاضًا أكثر وضوحًا.

الموقع الذي تأثر بشدة بالفلترة كان PinoyBlog وHouseonahill.net، حيث كاد الموقع الأول أن يفقد جميع نقراته.

أدركت أن تصفية الإعلانات المتعلقة بالمدونات لموقع مخصص بالكامل للمدونات والكتابة فيها (PinoyBlog) كان خطأً فادحًا. وبما أننا نتعقب تأثير تصفية الإعلانات عبر كل قناة، فقد أظهرت النتائج الأولية أن المدونات المتخصصة (التي تم تبسيطها مثل PinoyTechBlog) هي الأكثر استفادة، حيث حققت معدلات نقر أعلى (CTR)، بينما عانت المدونات العامة مثل Houseonahill من فقدان الكثير من النقرات منخفضة الدفع، والتي كان يمكن أن تترجم إلى عدة دولارات من الإيرادات يوميًا.

Well filtering blog related URL’s on a blog about blogs wouldn’t be a great idea, as you would end up with no adverts, ads being context sensitive, is the only context available is blog related keywords, then you’ll be served only public service ads.

Blog related keywords and personal blogs aren’t destined to make money though, perhaps $1US per day..

Those with higher paying keywords such as technology and pharmacuticals and perhaps covering other broader issues do have the chance though, and it’s good to filter out the lower paying ads on such sites.

I set the Apache connections too low. Didn’t notice that it already causes time-outs. :D I just adjusted it now. Could you feel the difference already? :)

With regards to the CTR, I was just hoping that by removing the $0.01 clicks the higher-paying ones with replace them.

Ouch your server is sending lots of cannot find server responses, time to upgrade :)

Anyway CTR isnt so important, it just tells you how effective your ads are, CPM is the best basis for measuring increase/decrease in advertising $. I bet if you moved your menu to the left side and content to the right or put a skyscraper ad on the left your CPM would go up :)
