My plan to travel to Las Vegas to attend CES 2011 did not materialize so here we are giving you updates on what’s happening there thru the usual channels (PR and private contacts). Asus already went ahead and gave us the details fo their Eee Pad and Eee Slate EP121 which they’ll showcase at the CES Exhibit Hall.
The Asus Eee Slate EP121 looks like the same tablet/slate Asus showed during Computex back in June 2010 but this time they have the complete details.
The Eee Slate EP121 has a 12.1″ multi-touch Gorilla glass display screen (1366×768 pixel resolution) with an Intel Core i5 processor running Windows 7. It comes with a 64GB SSD for storage, 4GB of RAM, WiFi and Bluetooth.
On the other hand, the Eee Pad Transformer and Eee Pad Slider comes with a 10.1″ IPS capacitive touchscreen powered by an NVidia Tegra 2 processor and Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
The EeePad Transformer comes with a docking station and includes a full qwerty keyboard that also serves as battery extension to give a total of 16 hours battery life.
The EeePad Slider comes with a built sliding keyboard for better mobility. No word on the pricing and local availability but I’m pretty sure these units will land in the Philippines before the second half of the year.
Hay….at last!
I’ve got my Asus EP slate last Dec 2. :)
Between iPad2 and EP Slate, I’ve preferred this one.

@Paul – Wouldn’t spend the money you get the MS 6000 Keyboard from MS for free with it and the EP121 comes in a very nice leather case/stand that does exactly what the logitech thingy does.
