DJI has launched the new Lito Series camera drones, introducing the Lito X1 and Lito 1 as beginner-friendly options for aerial photography with built-in safety features.

Announced on April 23, 2026, the new drones are designed for first-time users who want to capture photos and videos from above. Both models come with omnidirectional obstacle sensing, which helps avoid objects like walls and trees during flight.
The Lito X1 is the higher model, featuring a 48MP camera with a larger 1/1.3-inch sensor and added LiDAR for more precise detection. The Lito 1 uses a 48MP 1/2-inch sensor and still includes full obstacle sensing for safer flying at a lower cost.
Both drones support smart shooting modes such as ActiveTrack, QuickShots, MasterShots, Hyperlapse, and Panorama. These features allow users to capture moving subjects and create videos with automatic camera movements.

The Lito Series also supports up to 36 minutes of flight time and can handle moderate wind conditions. Users can transfer files quickly using Wi-Fi 6, while the Lito X1 includes built-in storage.
The new drones aim to make aerial photography easier to learn while keeping key safety and camera features for everyday use.
