The TECNO SPARK Slim has been confirmed for Philippine launch on October 8. TECNO Mobile Philippines has already posted a teaser of the device via Instagram.
It’s touted as the world’s slimmest 3D-curved AI smartphone, measuring just 5.93mm, thinner than the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+. It also has a 0.36mm aerospace-grade fiberglass back panel with Gorilla Glass 7i protection and an IP64 rating.
In addition, it also has a MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification. TECNO also says it endured a 25kg bend test and can withstand a 2-meter fall.
One of its standout features is also its Mood Light, which responds to user interactions. This can be tweaked for receiving notifications, battery warnings, and more.
At the front, it has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. There’s also an in-display fingerprint sensor at the bottom as the entirety of the screen’s protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.
For cameras, it has a 50MP main and a 13MP selfie shooter. Powering it is a MediaTek Helio G200 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It also has a 0.3mm vapor chamber for thermal management.
Battery-wise, it has a 5,160mAh capacity with support for 45W of fast charging via USB Type-C. It also has charging measures including Overnight Charging Protection and Liquid Charging Detection.
The phone will ship with HiOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box. It leverages TECNO’s AI Suite with tools for productivity, creativity, and support for Google Gemini.
For connectivity, it supports Super Freelink Communication. This allows the device to send over files and calls via Bluetooth up to 1 kilometer.
However, pricing and availability details for the TECNO SPARK Slim has yet to be unveiled. We’ll update readers for further updates once they’re available.
