Qualcomm has introduced the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3, the latest addition to its G-series lineup, specifically designed to enhance handheld gaming consoles. This new platform brings significant performance improvements and advanced features, aiming to elevate the mobile gaming experience.
Key Features and Enhancements:
• CPU and GPU Performance: The Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 is equipped with an octa-core Kryo CPU, comprising one prime core, five performance cores, and two efficiency cores. This configuration delivers a 30% increase in CPU performance compared to its predecessor. The integrated Adreno A32 GPU offers a 28% boost in graphics performance, ensuring smoother and more responsive gameplay.
• Advanced Graphics Support: Notably, the G3 Gen 3 supports Unreal Engine 5’s Lumen, a dynamic global illumination and reflections system, enhancing visual realism in games. Additionally, hardware-accelerated ray tracing is now available, a feature absent in previous G-series models.
