Looking for 128GB microSD card? Here's one for Php3,990.

Listen to article

Still feeling a bit lacking despite the 32GB or 64GB internal storage of your smartphone? Perhaps a 128GB microSD card should fit the bill?

If you have a spare Php4k around, you can grab a Samsung microSDXC 128GB EVO memory card (with SD card adapter) over at Villman for only Php3,990 (see here).

The microSD card has a rated speed of up to 48MB/s which also makes it very usable with a GoPro Hero 4. The card is water-proof, temperature-proof, X-Ray proof and magnetic proof.

The EVO+ variant with the same capacity is slightly more expensive at Php4,790 (Lazada listing here). The Sandisk equivalent is also listed at Php4,000 (see listing here).

Just make sure your smartphone or tablet supports the entire 128GB capacity.

So does this mean that Lollipop officially supports exFAT or are the cards just formatted as FAT32?

@theG @digitaljaime thank you for your feedback. Found a microSD 128GB Sandisk 48Mbps at SM Megamall worth 4.5k. Haha!

Hi Yugatech! I’m actually planning to buy an Asus Zenfone 2 4GB/64GB and I know it only supports up to 64GB external storage. I just want to confirm if it will only support 64GB or if the upcoming update 5.1 Lollipop will enable this device to exceed this expandable storage capacity.
