One UI 8 based on Android 16 may debut this year as rumors suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 may run these.

There is a report that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 may launch featuring the One UI 8 based on Android 16 for their operating system. Google states that the Android 16 may have a stable version arriving on June or July.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 has yet to have an official launch date revealed. The rumors suggest that the smartphones may run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

As of writing this article, the Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 do not have the One UI 7 update yet. There might be a chance where Samsung may go from One UI 7.0 to One UI 8.0.
