Listen to article

Samsung
4" AMOLED डिस्प्ले
HSDPA 14.4Mbps, HSUPA 5.76Mbps
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 3.0
USB 2.0
Bada OS 2.0
NFC सपोर्ट
TouchWiz UI
1500mAh Li-Ion

Im currently using a betafirmware 2.0 for wave 1. Comparing from Bada 1.2 to 2.0 malaki talaga difference kaso may mga features from 1.2 na nawala sa 2.0 like the photoeditor, pero overall the new firmware is great! live wallpaper(flash supported), voice input/output, new navigation panel, text message and media browser.

Samsung Wave III is already available in German store for less than 300 €. Find it somehow strange that Samsung is still insisting with its own OS. What about their android phones?

I think the CPU is not wasted on Bada – it will go to the web engine. Bada 2.0 runs the WAC web widget platform.

A bit of dissapointment for a bada wave 1 user for me. Almost the same features as wave one. They did not even upgraded the camera to 8mp :( they just upgraded the processor and added NFC, plus they removed the dedicated camera button. T_T but overall I’m satisfiedwith my Bada device, cause i’m not a person particular of apps. Its between android and ios for me.

It’s still an improvement because they bumped up the processor, added an NFC, increased the screensize (just basing on visual inspection on my sis’s phone) AND brought the initial price to 16k+. The wave1 phone was 20k+ on initial offer.

i think the on screen camera button is better than the dedicated ones, because my wave 1 has its camera button not working anymore. i hope that when theye released the update for wave 1, it will also support the touch screen camera button that is found on the wave 3.

I love my wave 1 phone, the best handset to offer superb quality entertainment without breaking the bank. But I think wave 3 is super amoled plus, since wave 1 is super amoled. I choose bada over android because I am not a person who is particular of apps, plus I hate excessive customization in android. Its a reason for procrastinationfor me.

@migs – my thoughts, exactly. not putting all eggs in one basket is a wise move by Samsung.

@jhoms – that’s because Samsung used TouchWiz UI on Bada and Android.

WOw! This is just an amazing development for BADA by samsung. Will their previously released smartphones with BADA OS get this software update? The homepage really looks different from what it is of my sister’s bada phone right now…
