Xiaomi has officially introduced the REDMI Note 15 Series in the Philippines, expanding its popular midrange lineup with a strong focus on durability, battery longevity, and advanced imaging. The new series includes four models: REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G, REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G, REDMI Note 15 5G, and REDMI Note 15, all built around what Xiaomi calls REDMI Titan Durability.
The local launch was held from January 14 to 16, 2026, in Cebu, featuring hands-on durability demonstrations that highlighted reinforced structures, improved drop resistance, and enhanced dust and water protection. Xiaomi positions the REDMI Note 15 Series as devices designed to withstand everyday challenges while still delivering strong performance and modern features.
At the top of the lineup, the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G and REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G feature a new 200MP camera system, marking a major imaging upgrade for the Note series. These models use a large 1/1.4-inch sensor with optical-level zoom and AI-powered processing for sharper photos across various lighting conditions. The standard REDMI Note 15 5G and REDMI Note 15 are equipped with 108MP cameras, bringing high-resolution photography further down the price ladder.
Battery life is another key highlight. Xiaomi introduced silicon-carbon battery technology to the Note series, allowing higher capacity in slimmer designs. The Pro+ model packs a 6,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging, while the rest of the lineup offers large-capacity batteries with fast and reverse charging support, aiming for multi-year longevity and daily reliability.
On the durability side, the Pro models carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, reinforced frames, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Even the more affordable models benefit from improved splash and dust resistance, along with Wet Touch technology to keep screens responsive in challenging conditions.
Performance varies across the lineup, with the Pro+ powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, the Pro by MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra, and the base models using Snapdragon and MediaTek chipsets tuned for efficiency. All models run on Xiaomi HyperOS, with support for Google Gemini and AI-powered features.
