YouTube Music Mendapatkan Desain Pemutar Tampilan Terpisah (Split-View) yang Baru

Listen to article

YouTube Music is rolling out a new split-view design for its “Now Playing” screen on Android and iOS devices. The update is now available to many users through a server-side rollout.

The new design shows two sections at once. The top part displays the song cover, controls, and play options, while the bottom part shows the “Up Next” queue. Users can swipe up to expand the queue or return to full screen view.

The update also changes some controls. The “Song” and “Video” switch now uses icons, and the progress bar is thicker, making it easier to control playback. The main buttons, like play and pause, remain in the same place.

Some sections have been moved. The “Lyrics” and “Related” tabs are no longer at the bottom. Lyrics can now be found under the like and dislike buttons, while Related content can be opened by tapping the song title.

The update is rolling out to Android version 9.14 and iOS version 9.15. Since it is a server-side update, users may get it at different times. Some users reported that restarting the app helps show the new design.

This change aims to make it easier to control music and see what’s playing next in one screen.
