Along with the announcement of the Xperia X Series of smartphones, Sony also revealed a new Xperia smart product called the Xperia Ear – a Bluetooth-enabled earpiece.
The Xperia Ear is wireless ear-piece that you can connect to the new Xperia X smartphone, or any Xperia smartphone, via NFC or Bluetooth. It features a soft silicone ear-bud, IPX2 water-protection, and an all-day battery life.
The Xperia Ear is also capable of providing its users with useful information like schedule, weather and news. It also responds to verbal commands so you can ask it to make a call, perform an internet search, dictate a message or navigate to a certain location.
The Xperia Ear will be available in Graphite Black and comes in a case that doubles as a charger. It is expected to arrive in Summer 2016. Pricing is yet to be announced.
