Apple iPhones will soon be able to update their latest iOS version while the device is still sealed in the box.

Apple has found a way to update their iPhones while it’s still sealed in the box. A “pad-like device” will be used to update their boxed iPhone.

This can be done by putting the unopened box on the pad which will wirelessly turn on the system. It will then update the software and turn itself back off.

This method will allow Apple employees to sell iPhones that are up-to-date with the latest iOS. The pad device will roll out to Apple stores before 2023 ends.
