HONOR Pad X9a spotted online via certification platform, launch imminent

Honor’s next budget tablet, the HONOR Pad X9a, is set for imminent release. The UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) online database reveals that the tablet will carry the model number ELN2-W29, however, no further details were mentioned.

What’s certain is that it will be the successor to last year’s HONOR Pad X8a. To recap, it featured an 11-inch Full HD+ TFT LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 400 nits, a Snapdragon 680 chipset, and a large 8,300mAh battery.

Launch schedule

For reference, the Pad X8a was unveiled for global markets in September 2024. Considering the company’s frequent launches, we can expect the new Pad X9a to arrive as early as next month, in February.
