Facebook launches Year In Review 2017

We’re nearing the end of the year, which means you can now let Facebook summarize your experience in 2017 into a personalized video.

As always, the video shows you moments from the year that you shared yourself, or were tagged in. The video can then be edited before sharing.

According to Facebook, the methodology for determining top moments is “gathering a list of the top keywords by volume mentioned in a single day on Facebook between January 1st and November 1st, 2017”. Topics are then identified as unique to this year by comparing keywords to last year’s maximum volume on a single day.

The feature has not yet rolled out to the Philippines, but we can probably expect to see it some time tonight via this link: facebook.com/yearinreview.
