Lenovo’s latest 10-inch, Atom-powered Windows 8 tablet PC, the Miix 10 Tablet, is now up for sale for under $600.

The Lenovo Miix 10 sports a 10.1-inch HD (1366 x 768) IPS display, 64GB of internal storage, micro HDMI out, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and an option for a 3G micro-SIM slot. Powering the device is an Intel Atom Processor Z2760 clocked at 1.80GHz, 2GB of RAM, 6,800mAh battery, and Windows 8 32-bit.

The Lenovo Miix 10 Tablet has a price tag of $599 (around Php26K) and will start shipping on August 16.

somebody here is messing the whole yugatech comment sections… ang sabi nya, “real professionals use android”… i am a teacher and i am looking forward for the best windows 8 tablet to come… pwede na ito… and i don’t have much time to play games… all i need is a microsoft office… and at least i can do research thru internet… hopefully device like this can help me make others- better persons … hindi yung may super husay ka na android at hindi mo alam pumangit na ang ugali mo…

if target mo is office, recommend ko yung surface RT. libre na ang office (excel,word,powerpoint,outlook) all 2013. great battery life… you have usb ports to transfer files.. hdmi mini for video out during presentations, microsd for memory expansion ;) works really really great. will last you a whole day of class ;)

Still mas better parin un ibang naunang touchscreen laptop. I own a HP TouchSmart TM2T 1000 CTO and it is a dual core with a discrete graphics, still mas better parin performance nya nung inupgrade ko un into Windows 8.
Try to compare the performance of a core 2 duo to a atom processor.

Go away TROLL!

Android has many loopholes on its operating system. Especially Its JAVA Based Linux operating system. Remember when oracle has an issue regarding it has security issues on JAVA.

Windows might not be perfect, but at least they release a Security Patch every month to close that gap. Meron ba yan sa ANDROID?

If you want to use a Android operating system, then do what you want. Nobody’s pusing you. I am also an android user. Pero nakukulangan din ako. Dahil ba madaming games na pwedeng icrack kaya maganda. Wait.. you said you are a real professional. A real professional use a Office Productivity suite when it comes to document making. Meron nga ang android (Quickoffice- Acquired by google) pero san tayo bumabalk?

skyrim or kahit assasins creed na lng? Im sure pinaka hd mo nalaro sa android is ravensword right? Sa palagay mo ba mag kakaroon or pwde mag karoon ng android version ung skyrim or assasins creed yunng hd ah? At free world at free roaming system ha? Familiar ka naman sguro sa skyrim? Sa palqgay ko di kaya or di pa readY and android para jan. Pero ang system or gaming tech na ginamit sa android games kayang kaya ng i adapt ng windows chicken lng sa kanila un. i still don’t get the hate towards windows 8 and windows 8 RT. games and apps? I’ve been downloading games on my surface RT and so far the games are awesome. free or paid the graphics are great. battery life is great. I’ve upgraded my surface RT to 8.1 preview and got outlook 2013 included for free. since then ito na ang nagging primary work machine ko sa office. I create proposals timelines do emails. RT has been bashed dahil hindi pwedeng maginstall. the heck, it’s a mobile OS like iOS on ipad. understand the difference. you don’t install full applications on ipad that you install on osx. kung mag critic ka be smart do research or if my chance, use it first hindi yung gumagaya lang sa comment ng iba. I’ve had my RT for 3 weeks now… and haven’t used my work laptop since then except to move files. i can easily access our servers from my surface RT so hindi ko na kailangan ng desktop at laptop. i’m very much satisfied with this.doing all this stuff and never have to worry about overheating or running it for more that 6 hours doing work.

sham, was lucky enough to have a friend buy one for me sa US. Although available na sya sa HK at SG today same price cut also with touch keyboard. btw yes if you can wait, wait for the generation 2 surfaces… if target mo talaga is yung price pabili ka na lang sa HK or SG. if you plan to use it mainly for the office apps i suggest you get the RT. if other wise you plan to install other apps and target mo is the wacom which i must say is really great get the surface pro either 128 or 256GB. for me i would love to have the surface but like i said since RT got the outlook on 8.1 at i can do remote desktop to our servers, my RT serves me well enough.. games, there are pretty awesome games on windows store.. great graphics to… my expectations were low when i got it pero was surprise when i installed them. when you get one just make sure to make your put the region settings all to US ;)

Fail. Intel atom should be priced at around 15k just like netbook. Atom is slow for a PC.

well i would agree that but the thing about this tablet is first the Quality of the Screen being used they used an IPS screen there for a quick comparison the acer w3 has a 8″ inch screen that is not an IPS but have similar specs (because of the atom procies features and limitations) but the price of that is less than 15k (depending on the store but the retail is 15k) so for me the only thing you are paying is the screen not the form factor nor the specs

what we are talking here is a Fully Pledged Windows 8 Pro Tablet not the RT Version you are referring abuzalzal, you may run more applications than you think on this tablet more than any “Mobile” platform though i would agree na di sufficient yung CPU niya pero when it comes to applications walang sinabi ang android at Ios where would you find a Full Suite of “Office 2013” that can do every doucument work in android (meron naman free sa android pero very limited) and again this is Windows 8 Pro Full Version

I happend to be also an FORMER OWNER OF A FUSION BOLT and guess what troll pinamigay ko lang in very slow and the gpu wont able to play HD games full speed now tell me abuzalzal who is the pro now, and wait theres more who would use android for a desktop replacement?
