The Philippines has once again landed in PornHub’s top 20 countries with the highest daily traffic, coming in at #9 which is the same position the country got in 2021 10.
PornHub also provided detailed information on what Filipinos are searching for on the website and other related user behavior.
In 2022 “pinay” continued to be the number one search in the Philippines while “Japanese” moved up one position to become the second most popular search ahead of Pinoy. Searches including the term “pinay gangbang” grew by +7 and “new pinay” by +14. Japanese was the most viewed category in the Philippines ahead of lesbian and Asian. Trending searches for the year included a 435% increase for “pinay tattoo” and a 234% increase for “hot romantic sex”. When compared to the rest of the world visitors from the Philippines are 192% more likely to view the Romantic category and 180% more likely to view Behind The Scenes videos.
Here are also some very interesting facts:
- Philippines ranked #1 with most female visitors at 53% vs. males (47%). The global average of female visitors is only 36%. This represents a 1% increase form 2021.
- About 94% of traffic from the Philippines comes from smartphones, is the highest in the world (global average is 84%).
- 38% of visitors are aged between 18-24 and 30% between 25-34 years old.
