Appleは10月10日、公式にClipsアプリのサービスを終了しました。

Appleは、Clipsアプリの更新を終了し、新規ユーザー向けのダウンロードも終了したと発表しました。ただし、現在スマートフォンにClipsアプリをインストールしているユーザーは、iOS 26およびiPadOS 26以降で引き続き利用可能です。必要に応じて、既存ユーザーは自身のAppleアカウントから再度アプリをダウンロードできます。

同ブランドは、Clips を使用して、エフェクトの有無にかかわらず動画を写真ライブラリまたは別の場所に保存するようユーザーに推奨しています。これにより、他のアプリで Clips 動画を表示したり編集したりすることが可能になります。

Apple Clips は 2017 年に設立されました。
