Apple has officially pulled the plug on their Clips app on October 10.

Apple has announced that the Clips app is no longer being updated and will no longer be available for download for new users. However, users who currently have the app on their phone may continue using the Clips app on iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 or earlier. If needed, existing users can still re-download the app from their Apple account.

The brand has also recommended users who use Clips to save their videos, with or without the effects, to their photo library or another location. This allows them to view or edit their Clips videos in other apps.

Apple Clips was launched back in 2017.
