Dellの新しい商用ラインナップはハイブリッドおよび柔軟な働き方を対象としています

ここ数年、ハイブリッドやフレキシブルな勤務形態がほとんどの人にとって新たな常態となっています。その結果、ハイブリッド勤務をしている人は毎日オフィスに行く必要がなくなりました。代わりに、どこにいても仕事を選択できるようになりました。自宅でも、ビーチでも、さらには全く別の国からでも可能です。

ハイブリッドワークフォースのトレンドに対応するため、Dellはハイブリッドワークを格段に容易にする新しい商用製品ラインナップを発表しました。その中には新しいPrecisionとLatitudeのラップトップ、ディスプレイ、さらにはキーボードとマウスが含まれています。

A few weeks back, we flew over to Malaysia to check out the Dell Technologies Commercial Client and Ecosystem Showcase, and we
got to check out all of these new and upcoming products. More importantly, these are some of the products that you might end up using especially if you’re working for large companies.

Dell Latitude Series

One of the models that easily caught our attention was the new Latitude lineup of laptops, particularly the new Latitude 9440. At first glance, you might mistake it for a regular Dell XPS laptop thanks to its similar design.

One of the key features of the Latitude 9440 is the new keyboard and touchpad. The touchpad also comes with a new feature that includes shortcut buttons to access the microphone, camera, screen sharing, and even chat controls. Dell tells us it’s integrated with Zoom, making the app easier to use.

If you do end up back at the office, there are a bunch of ports to use including an HDMI, Thunderbolt 4, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1.

Aside from the Latitude 9440, Dell also introduced the updated Latitude 7340 and 7440 which are some of the lightest in the market.

Both series of laptops run on the latest Intel 13th-generation VPro chipset, which is specifically tailored for companies, businesses, and similar enterprises. They also come with multiple speakers and mics, making them better for online conferences.

Dell Precision シリーズ

While the Latitude series laptops are aimed at being lightweight and portable, the Precision series models are more like mobile workstations.

イベントでPrecision 7680ワークステーションをチェックしましたが、かなりの性能を備えています。16:10の比率とUHD+解像度を持つ大きな16インチ画面が特徴です。

Latitudeシリーズと同様に、13世代Intel VProプロセッサを搭載しています。このモデルはi9プロセッサや64GB RAMで構成可能です。一方、グラフィックスはNVIDIA RTX 5000シリーズのAda世代カードが担当します。

ワークステーションでありながら、比較的スリムです。Thunderbolt 4 ポートが 2 つと、複数の USB-C および USB-A ポートも搭載されています。

デルのウェブサイトで確認できる他のPrecisionモデルには、Precision 7780や、よりコンパクトな3000シリーズと5000シリーズのモデルがあります。

Dell UltraSharp Monitor

イベントで展示されたのはノートパソコンだけではありませんでした。Dellは新しい UltraSharp 32 6K モニターも発表しました。このモニターは CES 2023 で初めて発表され、実際に試すことができました。

In terms of specs, the monitor features a 32-inch IPS Black panel with 6K resolution or 6144x3456. Dell also tells us it’s one of the most color-accurate screens, making it ideal for content creators or even professionals working in the creative industry. I loaded up some of my images on the display, and it certainly lives up to the claim.

しかし、非常に高性能なモニターであるだけでなく、UltraSharp 32 6Kはビデオ会議もサポートしています。内蔵の4Kウェブカメラがあり、驚くほど優れた統合スピーカーも付属しています。Latitudeノートパソコンと同様に、ウェブカメラを自動で閉じ、通話に応答し、マイクをミュートにするパネルもあります。

Dell OptiPlex Series

Despite being focused on hybrid work setups, Dell believes that office work isn’t dead yet. It’s also why they showcased the OptiPlex series of all-in-one computers.

今年はOptiPlexシリーズの30周年です。消費者がビジネスニーズに合った仕様を選びやすくするため、Dellはオプションを簡素化しました。ただし、従来通り複数のオプションと仕様が用意されています。展示されているOptiPlexモデルの一部には、7010 SFFとOptiPlex 7010MFFがあります。

Dell Premier キーボードとマウス

ノートパソコン、モニター、タワーに加えて、新しい Dell のキーボードとマウスも見ました。

私たちの注目を集めたのは Dell Premier Collaboration Keyboard KB900 です。特別なのは、ビデオ会議用のワンタッチショートカットを提供する 4 つの LED アイコンです。これにはマイクのミュート、画面共有、カメラのオン・オフが含まれます。Latitude 9440 のものと似ていますが、キーボード用です。

Other peripherals include the Premier Rechargeable Bluetooth mouse MS900 and even webcams.

“Dell continues to drive circular innovation in our product design, packaging, manufacturing, materials and services. We are expanding the use of low-carbon emissions aluminum to include more recycled content and extending this material to more of our portfolio, including the Latitude 9440, and Precision 5680, and to the Latitude 7000 series later this year,” said Anothai Wettayakorn, vice president, Asia Emerging Markets and South Asia Consumer and Small Business, Dell Technologies.

Hopefully, we’ll get to try out some of the commercial products like the UltraSharp 32 6K monitor and even the Latitude 9440 laptop in the future.
