We’ve spotted a new Alcatel phone in town, and it’s the U5 packing modest internals at a supposed ‘affordable price’.

The Alcatel U5 is seen to be available only via Sun Cellular’s Best Value Postpaid Plan 499, armed with Unlimited calls and texts to Sun, 250 texts to other networks, ‘Non-Stop’ Facebook and 250MB mobile data allocation per month. We’re keeping tabs on open-line unit availability, so stay tuned.

Kakatamad na nga sa sun wala man lng sila kahit unli txt o call sa smart.. Wala na nmn sun ngayon. Ayaw ko lng bitiwan number ko kasi ang tagal na nito

I was able to get this phone free from Sun Cellular, just a correction yung front cam nya is 5MP and yung main cam sa likod is 8MP. :-)

Wala naman nang kwenta yung unli calls and texts nila na sun to sun, wala na yata ang mga sun subscribers nagmigrate na sa globe. Diba dapat mas maganda offers nila (unli text to ALL networks etc kasi wala naman silang LTE atm).
