Apple issues iPhone 11 Display Module Replacement Program

Apple launches its display replacement program for iPhone 11 users, solving the display module issue of iPhone 11 devices manufactured between November 2019 to May 2020.

iPhone 11 users who are experiencing the mentioned issue may visit this site to check if their device is eligible for the program. They will need to input their iPhone’s serial number on the website. The serial number can be found under the About section of the General menu under Settings.

Eligible iPhone 11 units may be brought to the nearest Apple Authorized Service Center. It will be examined and verified before any service. Customers should back up their iPhone to iCloud or their computer first before surrendering it to the service center to keep their files. Any damage which impairs the complete repair, such as a cracked screen, will need to be resolved before the service. In some cases, there may be a cost associated with the additional repair.

Do note that Apple may restrict or limit repair to the original country or region of purchase. The program is available worldwide. However, it doesn’t extend the standard warranty coverage of the iPhone 11. Those who own affected iPhone 11 units and have paid to repair the device before the program may contact Apple for a refund through this link.

The Display Module Replacement Program covers affected iPhone 11 devices for 2 years after its retail sale.
