Cherry Mobile Aqua S10 Pro Hands-on

Cherry Mobile recently unveiled its latest smartphone and newest member of the Aqua line, the Aqua S10 Pro. It sports a 6.67-inch screen, quad-rear cameras, a 5,000mAh battery, and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G90 SoC. Read our initial thoughts about the device below.

The Aqua S10 Pro features a large screen at 6.67-inches. It has thin bezels with a slightly thicker chin and has a hole punch at the top for the 16MP selfie camera. Found above it in the bezel is the earpiece. Cherry Mobile didn’t mention any specific glass protection, but it already has a screen protector pre-installed.

Found on the left side is the triple card tray for two nano-sized SIM cards and a microSD card.

On the right is the volume and power/lock buttons. These are made of plastic but firm and clicky.

Up top, we have the secondary microphone.

While down at the bottom we have the 3.5mm audio jack, main microphone, USB-C port, and loudspeaker.

Flip it on its back and you will see the slightly protruding camera module that houses the 48MP main, 5MP wide, 2MP depth, 2MP macro shooters, and the LED flash. Found in the middle is the fingerprint scanner. Then at the bottom is the Cherry branding.

Despite having a large screen, the Aqua S10 Pro is easy to grip thanks to its 76.95 mm narrow frame. The buttons are also placed near the middle so it’s easier to reach. It measures 9.9mm thick but feels thin despite having a large battery, thanks to the curved sides at the back.

Although made of plastic, it’s solid and well-made. The metallic paint job also gives it a premium look, while the frosted glass finish at the back panel gives off a nice sheen and repels fingerprints well.

The Cherry Mobile Aqua S10 Pro is powered by a Mediatek Helio G90 SoC with a 2.05GHz octa-core CPU, Mali-G76 GPU, 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1, 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charge, and Android 11. This is a good configuration for a mid-range device and can certainly handle gaming. Check out its benchmark scores:

The Cherry Mobile Aqua S10 Pro is priced at PHP 7,999USD 136INR 11,555EUR 130CNY 993, which is commendable given its specs. We’ll know more about how it performs in our full review.
