Cherry Mobile outs another affordable smartphone under its Flare series, the Flare Y5, in the Philippines.

Running under Android 10 Go Edition, the Cherry Mobile Flare Y5 is powered by a quad-core UNISOC SC9832E chipset. It has a 5.45-inch TrueView display with a teardrop notch that houses its 5MP front camera. On its back lies a single 5MP rear camera. It has 2GB of RAM and a 16GB internal storage that’s expandable up to 64GB via microSD slot.

Cherry Mobile has not released its complete specs yet. However, it confirms that the Flare Y5 is an LTE-ready smartphone with 2,000mAh battery. It also has Family Link for parental controls and Dark Mode for lessening eye strains.

Available in Black and Blue, the Flare Y5 is currently available in Lazada Lazada → and Shopee Shopee → for PHP 2,999.
