Effective immediately, Cherry Prepaid rolls out its 799 Flare Lite 2 Bundle that is basically a sub-Php800 smartphone bundled with a SIM card that includes a number of pre-loaded values like free data use every month for one whole year. More details after the break.

For Php799, you have an entry-level smartphone and a free SIM card pre-installed. It comes with freebies including 50 text messages to all networks, unlimited Facebook access (both are valid for 2 days), Php10 bonus load for the first three months, and a special offer of free 120MB of data every month for a year. That free data is valid as long as users top up on their numbers at least Php10 worth of credits per month.

Gusto ko ng 3.5in na latest Android OS tapos 2sim, 4cores, 8gb+ int, 1gb+ ram, qHD+ resolution, decent camera. At less than P2k pesos sana. Yes, may market pa sa small screens.

my28 is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than this one, dagdag nalang ng 100 pesos, disadvantage lang talaga ng my28 is napakahirap bumili, palaging limited yung stocks.

Suggestion ko lang sa mga local OEMs, try nyo lang gumawa ng compact phones with decent semi-flagship specs. May market at maraming may gusto ng iphone 5s, iphone 6 at xperia compact series pero sobrang mahal para sa masa. Masyado nang advance ang technology, siguro naman mura na ang components kung bubuhayin ninyo ang mga katulad ng xperia compact at samsung s3 specs.

Target market ng mga ganitong phones is yung mga tao na 1st time smartphone users palang so walang mali dito.
Yung mga pinagsasabi mo masyado ng mataas na standards yan, syempre kung 1st time smartphone suer pa sila wala silang pakels sa technology, as long as makatikim sila sa kung anong tech meron ngayon.

As what you said compact phones with semi flagship specs, marami ng available dito, kung maghahanap ka ng maigi or updated ka sa mga current smartphones ngayon. And mostly sa tingin ko, 2016 na ngayon, bihira nalang naghahanap ng 5 inches below na semi flagship phones, kasi usually 5 inch na ang pinakamaliit na display size, although I’m not saying lahat eh ganun, mostly lang.

Ha? Wala naman akong sinabi na masama yung release nila ng 799 phone di ba? Dinibdib mo yung sinabi kong poverty edition? Nagsuggest lang ako sa compact phones iho. Bigyan mo ako ng listahan ng compact 4.6″ display phones na halos kasinlakas ng z compact series na available sa local market at bibilhin ko yun kagad. Hindi 5″ at hindi grey unit tulad ng sharp aquos compact, dapat yung mabibili kaagad. Wag masyadong malalim mag-isip sa comment ng ibang tao lalagnatin ka niyan.
