Fortnite for Android: list of supported phones surfaces

Fortnite, Epic Games’ smash hit free-to-play shooter, has been on the mobile platform for a few months already, though only on iOS.

Android users have been holding onto their seats for a release, and it may now be closer than ever. XDA Developers has been able to gather an initial list of supported Android smartphones for Fortnite Mobile, which was available on Epic Games’ website.

Devices included in the list include last year’s Huawei flagships, a number of LG, Motorola, Samsung, and Sony Xperia phones, the Google Pixel 2 phones, and the Razer Phone.

XDA has also recently reported that Fortnite for Android will be an exclusive for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9, but only for 30 days. This means that the game could arrive for supported Android phones in early to mid-September, as Samsung’s Unpacked event will be on August 9th.
