Gionee has recently taken the stage in Beijing, China to formally announce the new Gionee Marathon M5 – 5.5-inch dual-SIM smartphone that houses two 3010mAh battery packs which equate to a whopping 6020mAh capacity.

The two (2) 3010mAh batteries of the Marathon M5 are undoubtedly its crowning glory. But what is not specified on its specs sheet is that this handset can double as a powerbank, allowing users to put the Marathon M5’s batteries to good use by charging up to two (2) devices simultaneously.
The new Gioneed Marathon M5 is expected to hit the shelves later this month carrying a CNY2,299 (or Php16,667 with the current conversion rate) price tag.

Mahal pa ang 17k sayo? Para sa phone na naka amoled display at almost xperia z3 ang specs eh mahal pa yan? Gionee naman yan hindi yan rebranded chinese oem. Kilala na rin sila sa US as Blu kaya may quality control ang products nila
