Google Pixel 10 Pro, Google Pixel 10 Pro XL now official

The Google Pixel 10 Pro and Google Pixel 10 Pro XL have arrived 14 and are now official. These iterations come with the new Tensor G5 chipset, support for the new standard of magnetic charging, and larger batteries.

The Pixel 10 Pro has a 6.3-inch display while the XL model has a 6.8-inch display. The screens offer a refresh rate of 120Hz and resolutions of 2856 x 1280 and 2992 x 1344, respectively.

Similar to the base model, it boasts Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The Tensor G5, Google’s first TSMC-made processor powers these offerings.

Compared to the G4, it has a 34% faster CPU and 60% faster performance. It comes with 16GB of RAM and the Titan M2 security chip.

Camera-wise, last year’s setup has been retained. This includes a 50MP main, 48MP ultrawide, and 48MP telephoto at the rear. The telephoto offers up to 5x optical zoom and up to 100x hybrid zoom. There’s also a 42MP selfie shooter and the devices can record videos up to 8K at 30 frames.

The Pixel 10 Pro packs a 4,870mAh battery with 30W of fast charging. Meanwhile, the Pixel 10 Pro XL has a 5,200mAh capacity with 45W of fast charging.

Both devices support the new Qi2 standard of wireless charging at 15W and 25W, respectively. They also support Google’s new Pixelsnap accessories.

Pixel 10 Pro

The new Pixel models will ship with Android 16 out of the box with Google’s newest Gemini Nano model. They will also feature Material 3 Expressive, their latest UI. The devices are also set for seven (7) years of OS updates and security patches.

Pixel 10 Pro XL

The Pixel 10 Pro starts at USD 999 (~PHP 57K), while the Pixel 10 Pro XL starts at USD 1,199 (~PHP 68K). Readers can also check out the base Pixel 10 42 here.
