The HONOR Play 70 Plus is now official, positioned as an entry-level smartphone with notable features. This device leverages AI for photography, has an IP65 rating, and is Gold Label five-star drop resistance certified.
It has a 6.77-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it’s powered by a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset. It comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
For optics, it has a 50MP main camera paired with an auxiliary lens at the rear with a LED flash. As mentioned, it comes with AI features like object removal, image expansion, and eye correction.
Also, it packs a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for 45W of fast charging via USB Type-C. Other features include NFC, stereo speakers with up to 400% volume, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The HONOR Play 70 Plus starts at CNY 1,199 (~PHP 9.6K) with 8GB/256GB. Its highest storage configuration with 12GB/512GB is available for CNY 1,599 (~PHP 12.8K).
At the time of writing, the device will be available in China starting August 8. However, availability in other markets has yet to be announced.
