Huawei Nova 6, Nova 6 5G now official

Huawei has finally unveiled its latest Nova lineup of smartphones, the Nova 6 series.

The Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G share the same display size of 6.57 inches, with an FHD+ 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution. Both smartphones also have an oval-shaped hole-punch with 32MP + 8MP dual cameras on the display and 40MP + 8MP telephoto + 8MP ultrawide triple rear cameras, with minor differences. Both devices also have EMUI 10 based on Android 10 as its operating system.

The Nova 6 has Kirin 990, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and has a 4,100mAh battery. On the other hand, the Nova 6 5G has a Kirin 990 chipset with a Balong 5000 modem, 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, and a 4,200mAh battery. The Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G both support 40W SuperCharge.

The Nova 6 is priced at CNY 3,199, while the Nova 6 5G variants are priced at CNY 3,799 (8GB + 128GB) and CNY 4,199 (8GB + 256GB). The smartphones are set to go on sale on December 12, in China.
