OPPO and Hasselblad extend partnership and promises new imaging system

OPPO has officially extended its partnership with camera brand Hasselblad. In light of this, both companies are now working on a new mobile imaging system for OPPO’s upcoming flagship smartphones.

While details remain under wraps, OPPO claims the next-generation system will ‘set a new benchmark for the quality of mobile imaging.’

The collaboration, which began with the Find X5 series in 2022, has brought Hasselblad’s imaging expertise to several OPPO flagships. Past innovations include Hasselblad Portrait Mode, Master Mode for pro controls, and XPan mode.

No specific launch date was shared for the next-generation camera system, but more updates are expected as OPPO readies its next flagship lineup. We’ll update readers should there by any developments in this story.
