Samsung Mobile Philippines has announced that the Philippine Unpacked event for the Galaxy Note7 will happen on August 3, 2016.

The Galaxy Note7 is the latest smartphone from Samsung and the successor to the Galaxy Note 5. It’s skipping the number ‘6’ to align it with the current Galaxy S7 flagship devices.

Samsung is encouraging fans in the Philippines to sign up to their pre-registration page for a chance to win exclusive invites to said event.

The main launch event will happen on August 2, 2016 11:00AM EDT in New York with simultaneous events in Rio de Janeiro and London. We’ll be covering the event live straight from New York to give you the latest updates about the Note 7. Stay tuned!
