vivo has launched their foldable smartphone, vivo x Fold, last April. Now, rumor has it that vivo may launch the world’s first Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered foldable smartphone, the vivo X Fold2.

The X Fold2 comes with a newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset which is an upgrade compared to their first phone in the series that utilizes a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the device will also feature a 4800 mAh battery that supports 120W fast wired charging. It is rumored to release within the first half of this year.

As of writing, vivo has yet to confirm the official launch of the X Fold2 but we’ll keep you posted on any updates that may appear.
